| The Kelowna Sunrise Rotary Club would like to ask you to join our club's efforts in serving our local and international community by supporting our 24th Annual Community Auction.
For the past 23 years, this event has raised up to $80,000 annually in support of our local and global communities. Funds raised help programs like the Heros, Freedom’s Door, Kids Help Phone and Seniors Outreach to operate. Rotary is a 100% volunteer organization which provides funds and volunteer support to these organizations and many more.
LOCALLY - Freedom’s Door, Heros Okanagan program implemented in local schools , Kids Help Phone, dictionaries for children at Pearson Elementary, Brain Trust Canada, Kids to Camp ,Canadian Red Cross, Food Bank, Seniors Outreach, Salvation Army, WINGS Woman Shelter. INTERNATIONALLY - Polio irradication, Shelter Box Canada, San Salvador Orphanage, Market Children of Tegucigalpa, Clean Water Project in Ethiopia . . . just to name a few.
On March 26th the Coast Capri Ballroom will be transformed into historic New Orleans! Over 200 guests will enjoy a Southern inspired dinner prepared by Chef Monica, Bourbon Street festivities, our famous live and silent auctions; then the good times will roll New Orleans style with live jazz music and dancing.
